Kit Fiddle and Bow Our Kit Fiddle is a modern version of the historic dance master fiddle or pochette. Finely detailed, handcrafted workmanship, with solid woods and a full violin scale length. Ideal for practicing, soloing, backpacking and traveling or low volume ensemble settings, the Kit Fiddle is lightweight and portable, with a sound much bigger than its actual size! Now comes with a basic "early instrument" bow. Overall length 21 inches.

Crwth Traditional Welsh bowed instrument, 2 coursed melody strings tuned in octaves, plus two additional drone / rhythm strings. Drone strings can be bowed or plucked with the left thumb. Select solid hardwood body, solid spruce top, rosewood pegs, fingerboard, and tail piece. Tuned Gg, Cc, and Dd. Case and bow not included. Know in Middle Ages England as Crowde or Crouthe - in Middle Ages Europe as Bowed Rotte.
